World Bank approves $150 million for rural infrastructure development in Uzbekistan
The World Bank has approved $150 million in concessional financing to support the second phase of the Rural Infrastructure Development Program in Uzbekistan. It aims to improve roads, water supply and electricity systems in 296 mahallas (neighborhoods) across six regions by 2031.
