World Bank to support improving quality of primary education in Uzbekistan
The World Bank approved financial support worth $100 million for Uzbekistan to improve learning outcomes in primary schools across six regions — Khorezm, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Bukhara, Navoi and Karakalpakstan. These areas account for around 45% of all schools in the country.
